How to Reduce Your Business Energy Costs Workshop

Small- to medium-size business owners are invited to register for a free workshop on how to reduce business energy costs.

The workshop — part of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership‘s Sustainability Workshop Series — takes place on Thursday, January 27 in Balboa Park. The session will focus on:

  • how to conduct an energy-use survey
  • information on lighting and air-conditioning systems
  • conservation info on utility bills and rate schedules, and
  • using a work plan to implement survey recommendations.

The program for the day also includes a progress report on Balboa Park’s sustainability programs and an interesting lunchtime presentation on the San Diego Zoo’s biomimicry program. A continental breakfast and lunch are provided to registered participants.

Una coalicion de organizaciones comunitarias y organizaciones religiosas estan patrocinando un Taller para Familias de Inmigrantes.  La coalicion esta formada por ACCE, Alianza de Californianos para el Poder Comunitario y JOB.

A coalition of grassroots, community and faith organization is sponsoring an Immigrant Families Workshop.  The coalition is anchored by ACCE, the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment and JOB, Justice Overcoming Boundaries.
