Jazz concerts at Market Creek

A new outdoor jazz concert series continues
with the second of three concert

Saturday, July 21 from 3 to 6 p.m.
at the Market Creek Amphitheater
404 Euclid Ave. San Diego, 92114

Concert goers will get to experience “Jazz with a Purpose” as they are treated to a stellar lineup of smooth jazz artists as well as support a worthy cause. A portion of the proceeds from Jazz at the Creek will go to Food 4 Kids Backpack Program, a program that provides food to elementary school children in need whose only meals are provided at school.

Each identified child is provided with a backpack full of enough food for the child and their family for the weekend.
Here’s the concert lineup:
July 21 – Jazz keyboardist, composer and producer Marcus Johnson and saxophonist Brad Rambur;
August 11 – Jazz In Pink, vocalist Gail Jhonson, flutist Althea Rene, soulful harpist Mariea Antoinette, and saxophonist Reggie Smith. 

The concerts are “21 and over” events with food and drinks available.
